Little Bible Days · for parents and carers

Time together.
Clear terms.

Little Bible Days is provided by Kyle Hutchison, trading as Surprise Bear, in Edinburgh, Scotland. These terms explain the app’s content and services alongside Apple’s app licence.

Updated

Sharing Bible time

Little Bible Days supports parents and carers sharing Bible activities with children. A grown-up chooses suitable material, supervises practical activities and manages parent settings. No Surprise Bear account or child-profile setup is required.

Teaching follows a 66-book Protestant Bible scope. Story helpers, illustrations, questions and discussion prompts are editorial material, separate from the named Bible translation. Medals recognise participation; they do not assess faith, spiritual maturity or a child’s worth. Contact support@surprisebear.com if you spot a content error.

Daily adventures

Each daily adventure is selected for your device’s local calendar date. A connection is needed to obtain a new day’s entry; an issued adventure can be finished offline. A new family starts with the current day rather than automatically receiving all earlier entries.

The daily adventure is free and separate from Library books. Published entries may be corrected or occasionally unavailable. We do not promise a fixed number of future entries. Installed books and the Bible reader remain options when daily delivery is unavailable.

Books and collected pages

The starter books and Bible text are included in the app. Complete a book lesson to collect its illustrated page; books have no daily deadline. Saved pages and learning progress are shared by the family using that device.

Additional books may be downloaded when available. Downloaded teaching works offline while installed and compatible with the app. Some illustrations and recordings need an initial download; an uncached recording can use device speech instead. New lesson types or features may require an app update.

Saved progress and earned page snapshots are kept independently of the current catalogue. If a book is corrected or withdrawn, the app aims to preserve what your family has earned. This does not guarantee recovery after device loss, removal of app data or a failed backup.

Paid packs, when offered

Paid packs are not currently available. The intended offer is a one-time App Store purchase for a particular pack of books, alongside free daily adventures and free material. This is not an auto-renewing subscription or a purchase of every future pack.

Any paid offer must show its price, included content and access conditions before a grown-up confirms it. Apple handles payment and its refund procedures; we do not receive card details. Restoring or downloading a purchase may require a connection and the Apple Account that bought it. Family Sharing must be stated in the actual offer and must not be assumed.

We do not reserve a general right to remove purchased access without a remedy. If a change materially affects paid access, we will explain available support and applicable remedies. Nothing here removes your applicable consumer rights. Apple’s billing support can help with its payment and refund procedures.

Saved work and help

Progress is saved locally. iCloud progress sync is not currently available. Apple device backups and restores depend on your settings and available backups; sharing an Apple Account does not itself transfer progress through this app.

Use Save & close to pause a lesson. Keep the app installed if it reports a storage problem and contact support before deleting it. The content-repair option repairs disposable downloads without resetting family progress. An exported study-data file is a readable copy, not a full device backup or an import file.

The app privacy notice explains storage, online downloads, reminders and data choices. For help, email support@surprisebear.com.

Content and app licence

Bible editions have their own source notices. Public-domain Bible text retains its applicable status; these terms do not create new restrictions on that text. The app’s editorial material, artwork and software are subject to their applicable rights.

For an App Store release supplied under it, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement governs the app licence. These terms supplement that agreement for our content and services and do not replace it with a custom licence.

Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. We will update this page when the service terms change and explain material changes appropriately.
